Does Skills4 work only on health issues?  ---------

Skills4 seeks to improve the quality of life for people nationwide, by enhancing services of all types. While many of the services I provide have assisted agencies working with HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, or diabetes issues, I have also written grants, provided trainings, or offered community workshops in cancer screening and treatment, cardiovascular health, tobacco prevention and cessation, and others.

The methods that Skills4 brings to its clients are based in proven behavioral science and teaching theory. My eight years’ experience teaching at the University of Florida and Clemson University enable me to package themes for persons of all backgrounds.

Topics need not be limited to disease prevention and treatment services. I also work on developing education and community employment programs.

Does Skills4 work only on health issues?   ---------

Fees vary depending on the nature of the project, the location, and the duration.

In some instances, I am able to guide you to a third-party to pay for on site technical assistance, or for my speaking fees for treatment and disease prevention lectures. Otherwise, fees depend on the nature of the contract (speaking or grant writing, etc.), the size of the project, and the location of the work.

How are fees paid to Skills4?   ---------

This, too, varies depending on the nature of the contract. Grant writing projects typically require a 50% deposit, with the balance due when the application is completed for your agency.

Workshops and trainings require full payment before the start of the actual event.
